Engine and Performance

Unlike the i3, the powertrain in the B Class is a small electric motor coupled to a one speed gearbox that will give you instant acceleration no matter the speed you’re traveling. It will give you up to 310 N*m of torque (or roughly 240 lb-ft of torque) and nearly 170 horsepower which means it will actually outrun the petrol engined car.

2015 Mercedes B Class Electric Performance is good, being capable of offering a maximum top speed of around 120 MPH and an acceleration from 0 to 60 MPH in less than 8 seconds! The fuel consumption is basically zero considering it is an electric car, but it will still use energy. With a single charge, you will be able to drive up to around 80 miles which may not sound that much. Mercedes is also offering the chance of an extra-charge option which will give you an extra of 17 miles with a single charge which may come in handy for the daily commute.

For example, it comes with internet connectivity and an alarm system which will allow the car to start and heat up or even chill the interior depending on your preference before you actually arrive near it. On top of that, there is a satellite navigation system, leather seats as well aluminum trimming in order keep the sporty looks.

Its exterior on the other hand won’t be that much different than the standard B Class. The differences come in a different set of wheels which are white and have accents that match the color of the car. On top of that, the body kit is a bit different in order to be more aerodynamic and to generate less noise at high speeds.
